Team Animation Ltd operates with no company premises, no owned vehicles, and no employees. The Director works from a home office, and the small network of associates engaged for project work operate independently and are outside our organisational reporting boundary. Assumptions used in this baseline (to confirm before publishing): approximately 20 return rail trips to London per year, and approximately 8 return car trips per year to client sites where rail is not practical (average c. 60 miles per round trip). Emission factors are indicative, based on the UK Government’s published GHG Conversion Factors for Company Reporting (DEFRA/BEIS) – the current year’s published factors should be substituted before this document is published. Given the scale of the business, total annual emissions are well under 1 tCO2e.

Current emissions reporting

As this is Team Animation Ltd’s first Carbon Reduction Plan, the current reporting year figures are the same as the baseline year above. Future versions of this plan will report current-year emissions against this baseline.

Emissions reduction targets

Team Animation Ltd’s emissions are already minimal by design. We commit to maintaining this position and reducing emissions further where practicable, targeting continued year-on-year reduction on a trajectory consistent with achieving Net Zero by 2050. Progress will be reviewed annually.

Carbon reduction projects and initiatives

Completed / already in place

• No dedicated office premises – fully home/remote-based operating model, eliminating commuting and office energy overheads.
• Rail travel used in preference to car travel wherever practical; car travel reserved for journeys where rail is not a viable option.
• Video conferencing used as the default for client and associate meetings, in preference to travel.
• A distributed network of remote-working associates, minimising collective travel and premises footprint across project delivery.
• Minimal IT and equipment footprint, with no manufactured goods or physical stock procured as part of service delivery.

Planned for the coming year

• Confirm the renewable-tariff status of the Director’s home energy supply and switch if not already on a renewable tariff.
• Review travel patterns annually to identify further opportunities to substitute travel with remote delivery.
• Extend this Carbon Reduction Plan approach as a discussion point with associates and partner organisations engaged on delivery.
